Founder’s Story
Bodhira was born from a mother’s instinct to protect. Being mother to a newborn with sensitive skin that flared up and needed repeated strong treatments led me to search for something safer for delicate skin. That search led me deep into ingredient lists, various brands and finally, traditional wisdom, where I discovered Shata Dhauta Ghrita, an ancient practice of transforming ghee into a cooling cream. Slowly and carefully, I made it myself and it ended up working wonders. What began as an act of care for my child suddenly became a deeper calling.
I slowly began formulating simple, honest products for friends and family. The results were gentle, nourishing, and effective. Encouraged by those who tried them, I built Bodhira not to follow trends, but to uphold standards of uncompromising quality, transparency, and integrity above all. Though we have grown beyond friends and family, our philosophy remains unchanged: thoughtful, intentional care made with hard work and without compromise.
